–LMI ASIA Pte Ltd was founded in April 2008 in Singapore as the local office of LeipzigerMesseInternational GmbH to coverthe Asia Pacific. In close teamwork, the staff at LMI and LMI Asia work to establish GCA Games Convention Asia as the hub for the Asian Pacific electronic game markets.

GAMES ACADEMY

–The Games Academy is a Project supported by the Creative Community Singapore, under Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA).
–To help advance the development of the local gaming industry, the Games Academy will offer short-term bridging courses to facilitate the conversion of existing ICT professionals into game industry manpower.
–Other than providing an avenue for people to enter into the gaming industry, the academy will gather collect gaming information, endorse positive gaming initiatives and conduct gaming research and surveys.

GAMES ACADEMY is the Official Endorser for The Mascot Parade 2009.

Mascot Parade Limited is a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to increase the awareness for youth talent and creativity through the Mascot Parade initiative. Founded by a committee of experts in digital media and games industry, Mascot Parade Limited is managed by volunteers who wants to make a difference in the Youth Scene!

Mascot Parade Limited aims to:

i) Showcase and develop youth creativity and awareness through a public parade.
ii) Profile mascots from youth sectors and new cultural domains.
iii) Highlight positive youth activism and encourage teamwork among youth.
iv) Provide a neutral and wholesome public engagement platform for youth, organisationsand the public.
